Why did Rip Curl launch this recycling program?

For years, Rip Curl has been working on a real solution to recycle neoprene, a complex material with limited end-of-life options. This program is part of our circular economy approach, aiming to extend product life, reduce waste, and turn old wetsuits into useful, durable items. It’s a key step in our environmental commitment to close the loop.

How many wetsuits have been recycled so far?

Since the program launched in Europe, around 12,000 wetsuits have been collected and recycled.
